I have just started watching the series recently but I have already watched the movie, so I'm going to ramble my opinion about them in the latter. Yes, I know...Revolutionary Girl Utena is like an anime of 90's or so, but it is a popular yuri anime. Anthy IMHO was a big OMG in the movie and Utena was great. The best scene between them is the dance during that starry night in the garden. I lost a good amount of blood after seeing Anthy and that super sexy smile. In the end, the two ended up kissing each other nekkid in a car.

NOTE: First thing to say first is that I was able to watch the subbed version of Shoujo Sect ~Innocent Lovers~ OVA 1...FINALLY!! Shinobu is Shinobu love and her appearance is already that of like in the volume 2 of the manga, which I don't mind. I did found her voice quite sexy though and her personality that got a little bit emotional. Naitou got a little bit serious with her life, and yes, there were some minor changes.

Artwork was a so-so. I guess they tried to preserve Kenn Kurogane's style but failed quite miserably so. Unlike the manga which has no plot at all, the OVA tried to at least despict a little plot which of course revolves around the relationship of Naitou and Shinobu, two people who has to go through obstacles in order for them to realize their true feelings for each other. (Especially Naitou Momoko who has gotten a little thicker than before)

I am really excited in seeing the second part, which has just been released and subbed. The second trailer was better than the first one. Hayato x Naitou LOVE! THAT is what I really need to see! And and... the part where Shinobu confessed to Naitou, and the locker scene and err...I really need to see them all.

Shinobu: It's really great to know that those girls love me. But you know what? I have yet to say that word myself.
Momoko: Eh?
Shinobu: I love you... Momoko...

Naitou's reaction in manga was cute, while in the OVA was so vague and emotionless that it made Shinobu-sama looked stupid and pitiful. In the end of the trailer, Shinobu became a martyr of love! NOOOEEESSS!


- Mnemosyne ~Mnemosyne no Musume-tachi~ was a GREAT watch! Not only does it contain yuri and gore in it, but it also gave Mamiko Noto's voice another one of those glorious carpets. IMO, the plot might be confusing but the amazing art makes up for it. Rin Asogi was just awesome. I got to see her smile, kick ass, flustered, killed and then resurected again many times.

- After Rin comes Fujino from the third part movie of Kara no Kyoukai with the voice of the godly Mamiko Noto. It was a nice treat for me, really. I'm not getting bias, but my personal favorite would be this, the chapter of "Remaining Sense of Pain". I haven't completely read the whole novel, but it was more or less, awesome! You get to see Shiki in a different perspective, and that innocent smile she gave to Kouto was a classic.



BTW! I won't be home until evening by tomorrow as I will be dating , and misakichan in SM Megamall and we are all going to be lovey-dovey-------LIES! I'll be going to CosplayCon with them~ Fufu, oh joy and rupture! XD
